SteelSeries Sensei RAW — Professional Esports Gaming Mouse Review and Stats
About the SteelSeries Sensei RAW
The SteelSeries Sensei RAW was a stripped-down version of the legendary Sensei at 90 grams wired with the Avago ADNS-3090 sensor. Released in 2012, it removed the Sensei's LCD screen and advanced customization features to deliver the beloved ambidextrous shape at a lower price point. The Sensei shape was one of the most iconic symmetrical designs in esports history, used by countless Counter-Strike 1.6 and early CS:GO professionals. The RAW variant's rubber or glossy coating options became a subject of passionate debate in the mouse community. While the laser sensor had known acceleration issues, many players accepted this tradeoff for the shape they loved. The Sensei RAW represented accessible esports heritage at a budget-friendly price.
