SteelSeries Rival — Professional Esports Gaming Mouse Review and Stats
About the SteelSeries Rival
The SteelSeries Rival was the original large ergonomic mouse that spawned an entire product line, launching in 2013 at 128 grams wired with the PMW3310 sensor. It established the ergonomic shape language that would define SteelSeries' right-handed mice for years, with a comfortable contour that rivaled Zowie's EC series in popularity. The Rival was one of the most popular competitive mice in the early CS:GO era, used by numerous professional players before lighter options emerged. Its rubber side grips and premium build quality set a standard for the price range. The original Rival's DNA lives on in every subsequent Rival model. It was SteelSeries' answer to the question of what a modern competitive ergonomic mouse should be.
