SteelSeries Rival 310 — Professional Esports Gaming Mouse Review and Stats
About the SteelSeries Rival 310
The SteelSeries Rival 310 was the first mouse to feature the TrueMove 3 sensor — co-developed with PixArt — at 88 grams wired. The TrueMove 3 was based on the PMW3360 but with SteelSeries-exclusive firmware tuning that promised true one-to-one tracking without smoothing or filtering. The Rival 310 streamlined the Rival 300 shape into a sleeker, lighter package that felt more modern and competitive. Its split-trigger button design provided consistent click feel across the entire button surface. Professional teams including Astralis used SteelSeries products during the Rival 310 era, lending the brand credibility at the highest level of CS:GO competition. The Rival 310 represented SteelSeries' first step toward the lighter, performance-focused mice that would follow.
