The Zowie S2-CW was the first wireless version of the beloved S2 claw-grip shape at 74 grams with the PAW3370 sensor and 1KHz polling. The CW designation marked Zowie's initial wireless lineup, delivering cable-free freedom to players who had been waiting years for a wireless S2. At 74 grams wireless, it was competitive with other wireless mice of its generation. The PAW3370 sensor provided reliable tracking while maintaining the battery life needed for tournament use. The S2-CW validated that wireless technology was finally good enough for Zowie's demanding professional audience. It opened the door for the improved DW revision that would follow with the PAW3395 sensor.
