The Zowie EC1-B upgraded the large EC1-A with the PMW3360 sensor at 95 grams wired, fixing the PMW3310's occasional spin-out issues while preserving the generous ergonomic shape that players with larger hands depended on. Like its EC2-B sibling, the EC1-B represented Zowie's conservative approach to iteration — change only the sensor, keep everything else intact. The EC1-B maintained its position as the default large ergonomic mouse for professional CS:GO players who needed more surface area than the EC2 could provide. Zowie's consistent approach meant that players switching from the EC1-A to the EC1-B felt no adjustment period whatsoever. The PMW3360 upgrade eliminated the only legitimate technical complaint about the EC1 line.
